Saisha Mahil is an articling student at MUNERA. Saisha received her JD from the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Law.
Saisha also received her Honours BA in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto and her MA in Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University .
Saisha supports lawyers and assists clients at MUNERA in different areas of law such as family, real estate, and employment.
Saisha also supports the firm’s corporate, immigration, estate planning, and litigation practices.
Prior to joining MUNERA, Saisha worked at a boutique family law firm, which sparked her interest in litigation matters.
Upon being selected for a position at a legal clinic, Saisha continued to develop her litigation skills advocating for clients on Landlord and Tenant, and small claims matters, as well as her drafting skills assisting clients with their wills and estates matters.
Saisha’s previous experience also involves working with new and emerging markets including pharmaceutical and technology companies on regulatory and business law matters.
Saisha played an intricate role in managing the application, establishing production, and operations in Ontario for a US-based cannabis producing company.
Saisha is passionate about access to justice and has volunteered with legal clinics as well as duty counsel for the Family Law Project.
Saisha is also active in her community through fundraising initiatives at local food banks and organizations such as the Arthritis Society.
