Saisha Mahil is a lawyer at MUNERA. She is licensed to practice law in Ontario.
Saisha joined MUNERA as an associate lawyer after completing her articles with the firm.
She received her JD from the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Law. Saisha also received her Honours BA in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto and her MA in Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University .
Saisha practices in the areas of litigation, family, estate planning, and corporate/commercial law. She also has solid experience facilitating both residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Saisha has worked on matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice for matters involving both civil and family litigation. Her litigation experience also includes work on matters before tribunals such as the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Prior to joining MUNERA, Saisha worked at a boutique family law firm, which sparked her interest in litigation and family matters.
Saisha’s previous experience also involves working with new and emerging markets including pharmaceutical and technology companies on regulatory and business law matters. Saisha played an intricate role in managing the application, establishing production, and operations in Ontario for a US-based cannabis producing company.
Saisha is passionate about access to justice and has volunteered with legal clinics as well as duty counsel for the Family Law Project.
Saisha is also active in her community through fundraising initiatives at local food banks and organizations such as the Arthritis Society.
